Many children today struggle with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. An inability to manage emotions and behaviors effectively may negatively impact the rest of his/her life. Addressing these, and related, issues early in your child’s development will help set the stage for a healthy and happier future.

Whatever the struggle a child might be facing, engaging in therapy can help him/her express concerns, understand emotions, and learn healthier coping skills. Through the use of a variety of strategies, including CBT and play therapy, the therapist can help guide a child toward a more emotionally fulfilling life.

Behind each struggling child is a parent or parents with concerns of their own. The therapist works closely and collaboratively with parents to help them improve their sense of efficacy, as well as their understanding of their child’s particular developmental needs. Working with the both the environment, as well as the child, helps to improve interactions and connection and promotes wellness for the whole family.
